Here ye, here ye! š°
Hello friends!
Short newsletter this week. Iāve been thinking a lot about how to evolve the content online I create so that you can learn faster, more efficiently, and have more fun doing it. If you have any topics you want to see covered in the future, let me know by replying to this e-mail directly!
When learning a new skill, itās no secret that humans love imitating others. If youāre learning golf for example, youāll usually compare your swing to the likes of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Nelly Korda, or Rory Mcilroy (apologies if you donāt know golfers). The point is that to learn at first, you emulate the best and most successful ā eventually you develop your own style.
I started off my journey making videos for you all by emulating the best in the space, but these days I donāt feel very original. Not to say the content Iāve made in the past hasnāt been good or educational, but I think we can make it more multi-dimensional so that the message is communicated even more effectively.
What Iām trying to say is: Iām going to try to develop my own style when it comes to educating via videos. I look forward to seeing you there! Let me know in the future if it works, or keep me in check if its not working.
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
Humphrey

Companies Are Hoarding Record Cash Amid Delta Fears (WSJ)
According to data from S&P Global, cash and short-term investments on corporate balance sheets globally are at an all time high of $6.84T, representing a 45% increase in the 5 year average preceding the pandemic.
HY: While cash is typically viewed as ābadā to have in your portfolio, the importance of liquidity cannot be stressed enough - it can give you the flexibility for certain opportunities, or just act as a hedge against future outcomes. I think businesses are just being a bit cautious here, that and thereās much more cash in the economy now.
